Demoana is a Wizard by trade and a long time friend of Vdayen and Zeresh with a unspoken connection to Korosu. She's sensible and no-nonsense. She likes things her way and needs a good excuse if they aren't. Neriak never did suit her taste, and so when Ehboni told her she was looking for group members to explore Antonica, she leapt at the chance to leave and make her own rules. Demoana has never shared a good relationship with her kin, and only cared for those in the small group she joined. She is now only concerned with focusing her art, so that she may better defend her group.

Xannitos for all appearances seems to be a simple Warrior of Neriak. Hailing from a noble house, the Ebon Lord is rarely crossed. In public he seems like the most normal Teir'Dal; buying slaves, traveling abroad, selling his wears and increasing his wealth. However, looks are very deceiving. In all truth Xannitos and his sister-Demoana, the Silver Lady-are part of a small underground railroad smuggling slaves out of Neriak. Behind closed doors Xannitos is warm and gentle, allowing his "slaves" to speak freely. Only when they have guests does the entire household put on dramatic shows pretending to fear their Lord.

Stasia is somewhat of a multitalented elf. In all truth, she was born from the union of a high elf and a wood elf. Stasia grew up in Kelethin, and though she's as normal as any child her title as one of Kelethin's oddities caused her to become somewhat shy. Her parents thought it best if they made their own home in the Faydark, so that she could grow up without being seen as a wonder. However, before she came of age she lost both of her parents in an orc raid. She was taken to Neriak for being 'one of the more beautiful of the Fer'dal.' It was expected that she would be sold to the Maiden's Fancy; however, it was the Silver Lady, Demoana who purchased her as a hand maiden. Demoana and her brother often bought slaves for the sole purpose of bringing them back to their homes. Stasia explained to the lady that she had no one to return to, and would prefer to stay on as her hand maiden. The two have formed a great friendship, and Demoana has been teaching Stasia all she knows of the arcane arts.

Magdolyn is a shy, kind Wizard who is both fortunate and unfortunate. Magdolyn befriended the Lady Naiomi even though they were from separate stations. Optimistic and quite cheerful, Magdolyn was just what Naiomi needed to keep her from turning into a total Miss. Priss. Magdolyn enjoys helping people, and it was that quality that caused her to be captured by orcs. Even as the orcs sold her to the Teir'Dal as a slave she remained optimistic that she could escape. But she never got her chance and was being sent to the house of the "Ebon Lord." Her good faith was rewarded when she met Xannitos and was told of the "Underground Rail Road" his family had organized. He informed her that it might take some time, but he intended to return her to her home. As she grows to know him, however, she finds the idea of returning home less than perfect.

Saihitei is a Wood elf Ranger with many good attributes; however, when we first meet him he seems hard-headed and narrow-minded. He was in the wilds when orcs raided the home of his sister. He found the bodies of his sister and brother-in-law, but later learned that his niece Stasia had been abducted. He finds the Koada`Dal Wizard Naiomi who is in a similar predicament, and suggests that they team up. Their little party of two is captured after an untimely assault by a group of Teir'Dal and he is handed over to the "Silver lady" Demoana. Though he is not harmed by her, he struggles fiercely against her. When he learns that it is Demoana and not he who plays the part of Stasia's rescuer he because almost bashful.

Naiomi is a steadfast (or stubborn) wizard. From a very prestigious house, she is used to having things done her way. She is so set in her ways that when her childhood friend Magdolyn announces that she's going to hunt around Kelethin, Naiomi refuses to join her. She reasons that there are plenty of training experiences around Felwithe, and she sees no need to venture to the Feir`Dal city. Later she regrets that decision when she hears that orcs had captured Magdolyn. She searches Crushbone, but cannot find her friend. She meets and equally guilt-ridden Feir`Dal Ranger, Saihitei, who tells her of how his niece was captured by orcs and sent to Neriak to sell as a slave. Despite her prejudice, Naiomi teams up with Saihitei to journey to Neriak in hopes of redeeming herself and finding her friend. What the two find there is more shocking than what they ever expected.
