Moirai is young, rash and reckless. A Rogue in every sense of the word, but constantly throwing caution to the wind. If any of the Vah Shir get into trouble, you can bet Moirai's at the bottom of it. Tinidril is the only one who's ever been known to talk sense into Moirai. She has a loose relationship with Arumubei, where she takes advantage of his feelings for her. She doesn't get along too well with Brrak because he doesn't talk much, and she and Hakshi never get along. In fact when Rolnayn introduces himself to the group and states what type of hunt he's been on, Moirai jumps at the chance to help him. Rolnayn believes this is because Moirai wishes to help her fellow country-men, but her true motivation is her severe disdain for Hakshi. Moirai came from a less than favorable home, and she always promised herself that when she was grown she'd never let herself be denied. She has taken this to an extreme to the point that now she seems recklessly selfish. Not until all the Vah Shir are reunited, when Tinidril confronts Moirai, does she begin to see that she should first look to herself when she feels she has a problem.

Tinidril is a young Beastlord who looks up to all the older Vah Shir, and they in turn look after her. She's shy and quiet, observing and learning from those around her. She has a strange air of innocence that draws others to her. She is straightforward and caring and that is probably what causes all the other Vah Shir to protect her. Tindril is very pure-hearted and can't imagine what motivates "bad people" to do what they do. She can be quite gullible and naïve.

Arumubei is the level-headed, realistic Rogue. He enjoys exploring new territory as much as Moirai. But he'd rather use cution and clearthinking. He is constantly taking the role of leader even though it turns him into a nervous wreck. When he's responsible he worries continuously. He has a great admiration for Moirai and looks upon Tinidril as his little sister. Brrak has been a staunch friend since they were cubs. Though he would try to persue a relationship with Moirai, he feels she never takes him seriously.

Brrak is a strong silent Beastlord, only speaking when directly spoken to. His concern is only for his comrads and his betterment in his class. He believes that the spirits do not speak with words and so that is what he must do. Of course he isn't good at putting things into words. Perhaps that's the truth behind his silent philosophies. He honestly doesn't care much for Moirai's attitude and behavior, but puts up with her for Tinidril and Arumubei's sake.

Hakshi is one of the older Vah Shir who left the safety of Shar Vahl. She sees herself as an odd ball even in the Vah Shir group. She knows Rolnayn doesn't trust her and she doesn't trust him either. Brrak and Arumubei are wary of her and Moirai out-right hates her. However she does befriend Tinidril, and is therefore tolerated by everyone else. Even with Tinidril it still takes quite a while before she is completely accepted. However, with her impervious attitude she honestly doesn't care of what the others think of her. She maintains that the only reason she's around is to help Tinidril.

Rolnayn is a Vah Shir warrior and truly not much else. He isn't overly bright be he knows everything there is to know about being a warrior and respects others who know their classes just as well. Serious and strict, he leads a life of discipline. He is called upon by a noble family to capture and return a thief named Hakshi. He pursues her across Luclin and Norrath single-mindedly only to be evaded at every step. Though Hakshi's nimble cleverness originally annoys him, he eventually grows to respect her.
